My Story

My Wonderful Children

Life Long Learner!  That's me! I guess that is one of the reasons I am trying out blogging.  I love a challenge - whether it is changing grade levels, running reallllly long races, or other things in my personal and professional life.  Learning new things drives me.  And I hope this excitement is contagious and my students "catch the fever!"

I am the very proud mother of three fantastic children!  Macey is a freshman at NDSU, Kellen is beginning his 8th grade year at DMMS, and Errin is joining him as a 7th grader!.  The kids keep me busy but we do find time fo leisurely activities such as hiking, kayaking, and family movie night. My husband, Jeff, works at Taylor Corp.  He stays busy coaching many of the kids' sports.

I enjoy most things physical, but I also love, love, love curling up with a good book and a chocolate treat  (or two!)  SOme of my personal accomplishments include my three kids, being a teacher for a loooooong time, and running a 50 mile race last year!  Who knows what the future will hold for me?
